The CMRC–BAS educational YouTube channel features video lectures, documentaries, recordings of scholarly conferences and other academic events, as well as recordings of lectures delivered by visiting international scholars, among other educational resources.

The CMRC video lectures have been developed to support Bulgarian school education, but they may also be of interest to students in the humanities and to members of the general public with an interest in the subject. They cover topics from the school curriculum and related issues, primarily in Bulgarian Language and Literature and History and Civilisation, across lower secondary and upper secondary education.

The individual video lectures are prepared by scholars from the CMRC. Their main purpose is to present current and reliable scholarly information in an accessible way, as well as the latest achievements of Bulgarian and international scholarship in the fields of Cyrillo-Methodian studies, Slavic studies and medieval studies.

The video lectures have been produced within various projects in which the CMRC participates, including the National Scientific Programme “Cultural Heritage, National Memory and Societal Development”, the Establishment and Development of the Centre of Excellence “Heritage BG”, and others.
